The RSIC-1 TTC® is designed for use with steel web joists. The RSIC-1 TTC® Bolts to the bottom cord of the truss. This assembly decouples the gypsum board from the floor structure above, giving the assembly enhanced acoustical performance. With an Acoustical design load rating of 36 lbs per isolator, the RSIC-1 clip can support up to two layers of 5/8″ gypsum board when spaced no more that 24″ x 48″ oc. The RSIC-1 systems have several UL fire resistive design assemblies from ranging one hour to four hours.
